Providers we work with
We use third-party providers to help run the service, covering areas such as hosting and infrastructure, communications, payment processing, support tooling and AI features. Providers that handle customer personal data on our behalf act under contractual obligations equivalent to those in our Data Processing Agreement.
Some organisations we work with act as independent controllers for their own purposes rather than on our behalf. Certain payment providers are a common example, and our Privacy Policy covers those relationships.
Information we maintain
- The provider's legal name and the service it supplies.
- The categories of data involved and what it is used for.
- Where data is hosted and where access to it may take place.
- The transfer mechanism and safeguards that apply where relevant.
- The contractual protections in place.
Authorisation and notice
Adding or replacing a provider follows the authorisation and notice process in the Data Processing Agreement. Where a general authorisation applies, customers get a meaningful opportunity to object on data protection grounds before the change takes effect.
