Lawful business use
Use The RainMakers for legitimate business activity you are entitled to carry out. You must comply with applicable privacy, marketing, intellectual property and computer misuse laws, and with the terms of any source or integration you draw from. Information being publicly visible is not permission to extract, republish or contact someone.
Nothing in this policy authorises bypassing a platform's restrictions. We remain responsible for our own collection methods and design decisions.
Prohibited collection
- Do not bypass authentication, access controls, CAPTCHAs or rate limits, use stolen credentials, or disguise activity to evade a restriction.
- Do not use the service to collect special category data, criminal offence data, or information about children.
- Do not build lists for harassment, surveillance, discrimination, impersonation or exploitation, or publish personal information to cause harm.
- Do not collect or distribute data you do not have a lawful basis and the necessary permissions for. A verified address is not evidence of consent.
Marketing responsibilities
Identify yourself accurately, be honest about why you are making contact, and give people a working way to stop hearing from you. Honour opt-outs and keep a suppression list. Do not switch account or channel to get around someone's objection.
Marketing rules vary by country, channel and recipient type. In the UK, sole traders and some partnerships have different protections from incorporated businesses. Do not assume every business address can receive unsolicited messages.
Protecting the platform
- Do not introduce malware, disrupt availability, probe other customers' accounts or attempt unauthorised access.
- Do not evade plan limits, share credentials contrary to your order, or resell access without agreement.
- Do not use AI output to deceive, impersonate or make claims you cannot support. Review generated content before you send it.
Reports and action
If you believe the service is being misused, contact us with enough detail for us to look into it, without sending unnecessary copies of personal data. We may investigate, restrict the activity involved, or end access for serious or repeated breaches.
Where possible we will explain a restriction and give you a way to challenge it if we have made a mistake. Urgent action may be taken without warning where it is needed to prevent harm or to comply with the law.
